Shawna Ford
Shawna Ford brings heart, energy, and a whole lot of personality to the Where2Mud Ambassador team. Based out of Texarkana, Texas, Shawna represents several parks across the off-road community, including RATS, Carter Off-Road Park, Muddy Bottoms, and Hillarosa.
For Shawna, being a park ambassador means helping grow and support the off-road community while creating a positive and welcoming environment for riders on and off the trails. Riding is more than just a hobby for her family — it is their escape from the stress of everyday life. As healthcare workers and parents of five wild kiddos, Shawna and her husband use trail weekends as a way to relax, reconnect, make memories, and enjoy life with their kids and friends.
Shawna got started riding through family and friends and has been around the off-road lifestyle since she was about eight years old. A couple of years ago, she and her husband jumped back into riding, and it quickly became something their whole family loved doing together. Whether they are exploring new parks, building her RZR, jamming to Nelly, or meeting new people, the off-road life has become one of their favorite ways to spend time together.
Her ride is a 2017 Polaris RZR XP 1000 named Psycho, and the name fits perfectly. Currently sitting on 45s, Psycho is bold, loud, extra, and still very much a work in progress. Shawna’s build features her personal style with Tantalizing Turquoise and Sassy Pink powder coating, along with trusted parts from brands like SuperATV, High Lifter, and Mother Clutcher. For Shawna, the fun is in the build — always finding ways to go bigger, better, and a little crazier while still keeping it reliable enough to ride hard all weekend.
What Shawna loves most about her home parks is the atmosphere and the people. Every park has its own vibe, but they all bring together people who love riding, helping each other, and having a good time. Whether it is muddy weekends, trail rides, events, or sitting around laughing after a long day, Shawna believes the off-road community has a way of making everyone feel like family.
Outside of riding, Shawna is a nurse, wife, mom, and bonus mom to five kids. Life is busy, but the trails are her family’s happy place. More than anything, Shawna wants to keep growing, building, and showing her kids that they can do absolutely anything they set their minds to.
