Stars, Stripes & Pipes 2026: BBQ Cook-Off
July 3 - July 5
Whos ready?!? All Cabins and Rv hookups are booked. We do have plenty of primitive camping available for $25 for the whole weekend plus admission. (Tent camping, vehicle camping, and self sustained – generator ran RVs)
Get ready to fire up those pits and smokers! We’re celebrating the 4th of July with a day of good food, great company, and some serious bragging rights. We are keeping things simple and fun—this is all about celebrating, enjoying the park, and showing off your best BBQ skills.
​The Competition
​We are hosting a 100% payout competition with custom trophies for our winners!
​Categories & Fees
​Entry Fee: $50 per category.
​Categories: Brisket, Ribs, Chicken, and Chef’s Choice.
​Turn-In Requirements
We want clean, simple, and delicious. Please provide enough for our 5 judges in a single box per category. Fancy garnishment is not required on Brisket, Ribs, or Chicken—just bring that flavor!
​Brisket: at least 5 slices.
​Ribs: at least 5 ribs.
​Chicken: at least 1/2 of a chicken.
​Chef’s Choice: Get creative! This is where you bring the “wow” factor. Seafood, appetizers, drinks or desserts are all welcome. Note: Please do not submit the primary competition meats (brisket, ribs, or chicken) in this category.
​Rules of the Pit
​Cook your meat your way! Use your favorite pit or smoker.
​No ovens and no pre-cooked meat from home.
​We’ve got a fantastic panel of 5 judges ready to taste your best, including two special guest judges who are seasoned pros in the BBQ and chili circuit. They’re excited to join us for a fun, relaxed day at the park!

​Registration & Box Pickup: Saturday, July 4th at 10:00 AM.
​Turn-In Times (at the Porch/Office):
​12:00 PM: Chicken
​1:00 PM: Ribs
​2:00 PM: Chef’s Choice (Judged on taste, presentation, and the “wow” factor!)
​3:00 PM: Brisket
​5:00 PM: Awards Ceremony

Park gates will open Friday July 3rd at 12 pm those who would like to cook slow and low all nignt on their Brisket are welcome to start Friday.
