Chelsea & Griffin Garner
Meet Chelsea & Griffin Garner, our new Where2Mud Park Ambassadors for Deep Creek ATV. Based in Morehead City, North Carolina, Chelsea and Griffin represent the heart of the mud community — family, friendship, and a true love for the off-road lifestyle.
Riding has always been part of who they are. Growing up in Eastern North Carolina, Busco Beach was where many of their early off-road memories were made. As they got older and started their family, they jumped right back into the lifestyle, and it quickly became something they could all share together. Their daughter was already tagging along to the park at just 6 months old, and since then, they haven’t slowed down. For them, this is more than a hobby — it’s a way of life.
For the past five years, Deep Creek ATV has been their home park. What they love most is the people and the strong family-friendly atmosphere. They say the park manager, Kevin, is the heart of Deep Creek and truly cares about every rider who comes through the gate. With trails, river access, and mud holes, Deep Creek offers something for everyone, whether you’re brand new to riding or have been doing it for years. It’s the kind of place that keeps people coming back.
Their ride is a Can-Am Defender XMR 4-door, built to handle just about anything. It’s sitting on 4-inch portals with a modified Jake Moorhead suspension, plus Kicker audio for good music and Johnson LEDs for keeping the fun going after dark. It’s a setup that blends performance and fun — built to ride hard while enjoying every minute of it.
What Chelsea and Griffin love most about the mud community is simple: the people. Some of their closest friendships have come from weekends at the park, and they love how easy it is to show up, meet new people, and leave with new memories and stories.
Outside of riding, they stay true to their Eastern NC roots and love spending time at the beach, especially Cape Lookout. What used to be day trips by boat has turned into weekends loading up the SxS, taking the ferry across, and riding the shoreline together. Whether they’re in the mud or by the coast, family time and making memories are what matter most.
