Where2Mud is excited to welcome Sierra Horton of Riceboro, Georgia as a Where2Mud Ambassador representing Fat Daddy’s ATV Park.
For Sierra, being a park ambassador is all about connection. One of her favorite parts of the off-road community is helping people feel welcome, whether that means organizing group rides, introducing riders to new parks, helping someone get unstuck, or making sure nobody gets left behind. She understands how much it means to see a familiar face when visiting a new park or attending an event for the first time, and she wants to be that person for others.
Sierra has been part of the off-road and mud community for six years, and what started as a hobby quickly became a family lifestyle. In 2020, her family started with a single four-wheeler. Before long, that turned into a 6-seat Can-Am so everyone could ride together, followed by Sierra’s own RZR and a four-wheeler for the kids. Since then, they have spent countless weekends exploring parks, attending events, and making memories as a family.
Her home park, Fat Daddy’s ATV Park, is one she is proud to represent. Sierra loves that the park truly has something for everyone, with trails and paths for all machine sizes. She also gives major credit to the park’s amenities, including spacious bathhouses with private sinks, showers, and toilets. And when the Georgia heat shows up, the river access makes the perfect place to cool off, relax, and enjoy time with family and friends.
“If you’re looking for a family-friendly park with great riding, excellent facilities, and a welcoming atmosphere, it’s definitely a place worth visiting,” Sierra says.
Sierra’s ride is built to handle the mud and keep turning heads while doing it. Her machine sits on 44” BKT tires with 24” MSA wheels, backed by 8” portals and a 25% transmission reduction. She has upgraded suspension and steering components including SuperATV forward and rear A-arms, heavy-duty tie rods, Rack Boss, and pinion shaft, along with Rhino axles, Keller ball joints, and a High Lifter heavy-duty reverse chain. Add in custom powder coating, a custom audio system, LED rock lights, and more upgrades on the way, and it is clear this build is far from finished.
But for Sierra, the best part of the mud community is not the machines. It is the people.
Over the years, off-roading has introduced her family to lasting friendships with people who share the same love for the mud. Whether meeting someone for the first time at a park or riding with friends they have known for years, Sierra says there is always a willingness to help, support each other, and make everyone feel welcome.
Outside of riding, Sierra is a wife, mom, and career woman. She oversees local TV stations in Savannah and Macon, including FOX 28 and FOX + ABC in Macon, GA. Her husband, John Ross, and their two children, Rayden and Brody, are her why. When they are not at a mud park, you can usually find them spending time on their little farm or singing along to their favorite rock and heavy metal bands at concerts.
For Sierra, the mudding lifestyle is about more than riding. It is about family, friendship, adventure, and making memories that last a lifetime.
