Stock2Stacked: Shawn Micheal’s 2023 Honda Rancher Is One Wild Twisted Tea Party

Some builds are loud because of the parts. Some builds are loud because of the colors. And some builds are loud because they have a personality all their own.

Shawn Micheal’s 2023 Honda Rancher DCT IRS, better known as The Tea Quad, checks every box.

Built out of Omaha, Nebraska, this Honda Rancher is a self-built, Twisted Tea-themed machine that has become exactly what a mud build should be: personal, creative, functional, and impossible to ignore.

For Shawn, riding started from a place that means more than just buying a four-wheeler and hitting the trails.

“I got started after my brother passed away,” Shawn said. “My good buddy sold me a 2000 Honda Foretrax.”

That first machine opened the door to the off-road world, and over time, riding became more than a hobby. It became a way to connect, build, create, and bring smiles to the people around him.

And with The Tea Quad, that is exactly what he does.

The Build

At the center of this build is a 2023 Honda Rancher DCT IRS, a machine known for being dependable, capable, and ready to work. But Shawn did not leave it anywhere close to stock.

The Tea Quad sits on Terache tires paired with custom-cut Vessel Powersports rims, giving it the grip and stance needed for the bog. From there, Shawn went all in on the theme and the details.

The custom Twisted Tea wrap is what immediately grabs attention, but the longer you look, the more custom touches you find.

The build includes a long list of upgrades, including:

  • Terache tires
  • Vessel Powersports custom-cut rims
  • Custom Twisted Tea wrap
  • Vessel radiator kit with a custom center Shawn made himself
  • Vessel floorboards
  • Vessel cooler rack
  • Vessel skid plate
  • Vessel headlights
  • Knight ATV speakers
  • Knight ATV cup holder
  • Knight ATV phone holder
  • Knight ATV rear brake light
  • White Trash Fab cup holder
  • Buzzed Off-Road seat and grill
  • Custom snorkel and snorkel tip built by Shawn
  • Custom Twisted Tea tap handle 4×4 shifter
  • Tons of custom powder coating

This is not just a bolt-on build. Shawn has put his own hands, ideas, and personality into it from front to back.

The Inspiration

The direction of this build came from two things: Shawn’s love for Twisted Tea and his buddy Seth.

That inspiration turned into a full theme, and the result is a quad that people remember. In a world full of lifted machines, big tires, and wild colors, The Tea Quad stands out because the whole build has a clear identity.

When people see it, the reaction is almost always the same.

The Twisted Tea theme gets the most attention.

And for Shawn, that is one of the best parts.

“My favorite part of my build is seeing everyone talking about it and the smiles,” he said.

That is what makes this build special. It is not just about performance or parts. It is about the reaction. It is about building something that makes people stop, look, laugh, ask questions, and remember it after the ride is over.

Built by Shawn

The Tea Quad is a self-built machine, and that matters.

Every custom detail, every personal touch, and every decision has Shawn’s fingerprints on it. From the custom snorkel and tip to the radiator kit center and the Twisted Tea tap handle shifter, this build carries the kind of creativity that makes the Stock2Stacked community so fun to follow.

It is proof that a build does not have to follow a formula to work.

It just has to be yours.

What’s Next

Even with everything already done, Shawn says The Tea Quad is not finished yet.

Up next are a ton of new Terache goodies, which means this build is still growing, still changing, and still getting better.

That is the thing about a true mud build. It is rarely ever completely finished. There is always another part, another idea, another upgrade, or another custom detail waiting to happen.

Advice for New Builders

When asked what advice he would give someone starting their first build, Shawn kept it simple and honest:

“We all start somewhere. Keep working hard.”

That is the heart of Stock2Stacked. Every big build started with a first machine, a first idea, and someone willing to figure it out as they went.

The Tea Quad is a reminder that you do not have to start with the biggest setup in the park. You just have to start.

Shout Outs

Shawn wanted to give a shout out to the brands and people who have helped bring The Tea Quad to life:

Vessel Powersports
Terache
Knight ATV
Buzzed Off-Road
AR Powder Coating

These are the names behind many of the parts, details, and custom touches that helped turn this Honda Rancher into the machine it is today.

Why It’s Built for the Bog

Shawn summed it up best:

“The Tea Quad is built for the bog because it digs deep and brings smiles everywhere it goes.”

And honestly, that says it all.

The Tea Quad is more than a themed Honda Rancher. It is a self-built machine with meaning behind it, personality poured into it, and enough custom work to make people stop and take notice.

From a 2000 Honda Foretrax to a one-of-a-kind 2023 Honda Rancher DCT IRS, Shawn Micheal’s build is exactly what Stock2Stacked is all about.

It started with a ride.

Now it is a machine people talk about.
